Getting Started

Let's begin your journey.

Getting started with Mind Power Creativity Center begins with a conversation about what you're looking for and what matters to you. While the specific process varies by service, our broader journey can be understood through five stages: Connect, Discover, Plan, Grow, and Thrive.

Some services involve clinical assessment, eligibility, authorization, or funding requirements, while others follow a consultation and service-planning process. Below, we've outlined the pathways so you know what to expect.

Two Pathways, One Shared Journey

  • 01 Connect

    Start the conversation.

  • 02 Discover

    Understand strengths, needs, and goals.

  • 03 Plan

    Identify the right path forward.

  • 04 Grow

    Build and practice meaningful skills.

  • 05 Thrive

Use learning to support meaningful participation, independence, and everyday life.

  • The specific steps within this journey depend on the service. Below, we've outlined how this looks for ABA services and for our other services.

ABA Services

A clinical pathway that may include eligibility and funding review, behavioral assessment, individualized treatment planning, authorization when required, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Our Other Services

A service-specific pathway for Human Development, Education & Consultation, Career & Vocational Services, and Community Engagement & Independence, with consultation, goal identification, individualized planning, and payment or funding considerations based on the service.

Consultation & Eligibility Review

2

We learn more about your needs, discuss whether ABA services may be appropriate, and help you understand insurance benefits, eligibility, authorization requirements, and other funding considerations when applicable. Coverage and authorization are determined by the applicable payer or funding source.

Assessment & Discovery

When appropriate, we gather information through interviews, observations, record review, and behavior-analytic assessment to identify strengths, support needs, behavioral patterns, and meaningful treatment goals.

3

Individualized Service Plan

Assessment findings are used to develop an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan based on clinical need, identified goals, and the priorities of the individual and, when appropriate, their family or caregivers.

4

Begin ABA Services

Once required approvals are completed, services may begin with ongoing collaboration, skill development, progress monitoring, and adjustments based on the individual's response to treatment.
