What Engagement & Independence Services May Support

Community Engagement & Independence services may support goals related to participating in community activities, developing daily living routines and responsibilities, exploring volunteer and recreational interests, strengthening social participation, navigating everyday community environments, and increasing independence across daily life.

Specific goals are individualized around each person's strengths, interests, needs, priorities, and everyday environments.

Our Community & Independence Services

Community Integration

Helps individuals develop practical skills for participating in community environments, including navigating familiar settings, following community routines, accessing activities and resources, interacting with others, and increasing independence during community participation.

Daily Living Skills

Develops practical skills for everyday routines and responsibilities, including personal care routines, household responsibilities, organization, and other daily living activities that support greater independence at home and in the community.

Services focus on behavioral, adaptive, and educational skill development. When needs involve motor, sensory, medical, or other areas outside our professional scope, collaboration or referral to an appropriately qualified professional may be recommended.
